Phillipa Worwood

Hello, my name is Phillipa but please call me Phil.  

I am a mental health nurse by background with 20 years experience of working in acute in-patient and community adult mental health settings within the NHS.  I have a masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice completed with a specialist focus on adult mental disorders and illness.  I now work as an advanced clinical practitioner (ACP) and I am a non-medical prescriber.

I specialise in the assessment, formulation, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and illness across the spectrum of severity from mild to severe.

I believe that putting the person at the heart of what we do and asking ‘would I want my loved one to receive this service?’ is key to allowing us to deliver the highest possible quality and standard of care.
